Visa Problems And the intentions of the organizers
About this event: 4th World Youth Congress - Quebec City 2008

I hope that those that made it to the Congress from Nigeria have conveyed the plight of other participants from Nigeria tha couldnt attend because they couldnt get a visa.

I think the organizers gave room for his by refusing to take up the process of visa obtention for the participants especially those from Nigeria and Africa.

Also, I suspect that this was done intentionally in order for some participants on scholarship not to be able to attend. In this way, the funds meant for the flight, accomodation and feeding of these participants will be saved and used for something else.

ORGANIZERS, YOU GOT ANYTHING TO SAY IN RESPONSE TO THIS?

Congress and the VISA problems....
Dear Friend....
the problem faced in Pakistan was similar but in a different scenario.......!!

here nobody was offered scholarship and many of youth from my country were in position to travel either on their own expense or the had managed scholarship from other sources....but still none was successful in obtaining visa...but two of them kept pressing and making noise in the newspaper and remain in contact with organizers and applied again and now they are in the congress.....it means that if you put effort you are successful......but here the organizer though haven't offered scholarship but had been of great supportive role....
